Dust Free Filter Cleaning

Shop vac filters clog very quickly and usually they are very messy to clean.

Here's a tip to make it dust free!

Just place the filter inside a garbage bag and tap on the workbench. Rotate the filter while tapping to make sure you clean all of the folds.
In no time at all the filter is clean and all of the dust is inside the bag.

Remove the filter, tie up the bag, and throw away the dust without any of it escaping into the shop.

I prefer to use a clear bag because I can see when the filter is clean. But any bag works fine.
